_ooc - Everyone uses profane language once in a while. We get it. However, we'd like to keep it clean on here. If you exceed an amount of three swear words per post, your writing will be deleted. - Spamming is not allowed, under any circumstances. Sometimes computers freak out and post two of the same message. It happens, and that's fine. But if we see that you're posting multiple times with the same message, it will result in a locked thread and/or ban. - Blended signatures may not exceed a width of 500x250 pixels. Let's face it. If it's any larger than that, it'll look out of place and ridiculous. Double images may not exclude a width of 400x300 pixels, excluding any text banners that come along with the image. - You are not, under any circumstances, allowed to post or link to anything pornographic, racist, sexist, or gory. This includes images or text. We don't want to see it, we don't want to read it.
_registration - You must be at least thirteen years of age to register for this site. However, maturity matters. If we feel, based on the way you act, that you aren't ready to handle our site, we will politely dismiss you. - Once you've created an account, please change your display name to your character's first and last name only, in all caps. - Each person may have a maximum six characters, and even that is pushing things. For every two female characters, you must have one male. If you try to register three females in a row, the third female will be denied. We're trying to keep things diverse here, people. - Unless you are applying for a canon character spot, all characters must fill out either the student application template or the graduate application template. You may not start role playing until you have done so, and been accepted. Be kind of hard to, as role playing boards are only visible to those who have been accepted. - If you are applying for a teaching position, you must have completed a biography. Before you can send in the staff application, you must be active on the site for two full weeks. That doesn't mean you can register, go away for two weeks, come back, and expect us to accept your application. You have to be active for a fair amount of that time, achieving at least three role play posts. This is to ensure that you don't post one class and then disappear. - If you are registering as an adult and you reach the portion of your application where you name the hero/sidekick your character was paired with at graduation, please note: if you wish to be affiliated with a hero/sidekick who is already a member of the site, you must message them and ask permission before doing so! - If an application is not finished or revised within a month, it will be moved to the graveyard. Once an application has been moved there, it cannot come back out. If you wish to resurrect said character, you will have to rewrite the application. - No Mary Sues or Gary Stews. Nobody is perfect. Everyone has flaws. How many times have you bumped in to someone who had supermodel looks, never lied in their life, has tons of money, and feeds the poor in their spare time? Exactly! People like that just don't exist. They don't exist on here, either. If your character sounds too perfect, we will ask you to edit your application. - Once you finish your application, be sure to claim your celebrity model in the face claim. We don't need 2389456982309 Zac Efrons running around. Granted most of the female population would love that, there aren't that many people in the world who look alike. If someone else has already claimed a celebrity, you may not use it. Twins are not an exception to this rule! There is such a thing as fraternal twins, people! - Celebrity models must be three-dimensional, real life people. Yes, this is a superhero site. But most of these superheros are students in training who haven't starred in a comic series.
_role play - Posts may be no shorter than 200 words each. We need you to provide something sufficient for the correspondent. This also builds writing skills. Posts that fail to meet this requirement will be warned first, then deleted/locked on the second offense. - Posts should be written in third person past tense. No "I swing from the balcony, breeze whistling past my face." Sure, it sounds nice, but we're trying to keep it uniform. Also, it is very easy to break tense when writing in something other than past. - This site is rated PG-13. Now, before you guys all start booing, you need to understand, PG-13 includes a lot. You may reference sex, drugs, and violence. Any descriptive killing or bedroom scenes will not be tolerated. - Canons must stay in canon the entire time. You were chosen based on your ability to stay in character. The password for the applications is : Cow Ninja owns your mom. If we see something that doesn't sound like the canon you've chosen to play, we will lock the thread and ask for a role play sample to re-evaluate. - No godmodding. You control your characters, and your characters only. If you throw a punch at someone else, you can't hit them every time. For those of us dodging the punch, keep it realistic as well. You can't doge every time. You have to take a hit at least once. - If you want to have one character die a dramatic death, please make sure an administrator knows. Once said character is dead, they are dead. You can't bring them back and have them start role playing again like nothing ever happened.
_classes - All teachers must post at least three classes per term. Terms are three months long, so that means each class will last about a month. - Sidekicks must attend all classes available to them. Heroes may pick one of the four classes available to heroes only, along with Mad Science and Gym. - Exams will take place at the end of each term. If you wish your student to progress a year in their schooling, you must fill out an exam. Teachers will be asked to submit at least 5 questions pertaining to the information taught in their classes. The information will be available for everyone, even those who didn't take the class, so we're expecting all questions to be answered.
_cbox - No fighting or arguing in the cbox. You may be a jerk in character, but out of character, we're expecting everyone to treat each other with respect. If the admins spot any fights going on, we guarantee punishment will ensue. - Spamming the cbox will result in an automatic ban. It's stupid. Don't do it. - There will be no advertising in the cbox. If we see it, we will delete your message. (Yes, we can do that.) There is an entire board dedicated to advertising. It's there for you, make use of it. Don't use the cbox. - Do your best to include everyone in the conversation. We don't want you and your best friend monopolizing the conversation and scaring everyone else away. Try and make everyone feel welcome, especially new members. If a newbie pops up, make their assistance your top priority. - If you see someone with [ ADMIN! ] in their title, you better listen to them. If they tell you to do something, you better do it. Remember if you don't, they have the power to ban you.
